PURPOSE: A damper of a square vent pipe for a ship is provided to prevent air noise by controlling the opening degree of a vent pipe through a link plate member. CONSTITUTION: A damper of a square vent pipe for a ship comprises a guide, a link panel(30), and an operation unit. The guide is extended from the corresponding surface of a vent pipe along a longitudinal direction. The link panel comprises first and second link members(32,34) and a folding unit. One end of the first link member is movably installed in one point of the guide. The second link member is moved along the guide. The folding unit couples the first and second link members through a hinge. The operation unit operates the link panel.
