PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of battery is provided to obtain a battery which has small size and excellent electrochemical properties with superior productivity. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of battery comprises: a step of forming an uneven active material layer 1, by spreading a first coating liquid comprising a first active material on the surface of the uneven active material layer 1; a step of forming a solid electrolyte layer which has ribs according to the uneven active material layer, by spreading a second coating liquid comprising solid electrolyte material on the surface of the uneven active material layer 1, and increasing the viscosity of the second coating liquid; a step of forming a active material layer 2 by spreading a third coating liquid comprising the second active material on the surface of the solid electrolyte layer; and a step of decreasing the viscosity of the solid electrolyte layer by heating the solid electrolyte layer.
