<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation fixture of a thin image display device capable of preventing overturning of a thin television by relieving vibration properly for a quake or the like due to the shake of a strong earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: A base isolation fixture 10 for preventing overturning of a thin image display device 50 such as a liquid crystal television is fixed on a loading surface 62 of a furniture 60 such as a TV rack, and is provided with an image display part 52, a loading part 54, and support pillars 56 for connecting the image display part 52 to the loading part 54. The base isolation fixture 10 comprises: a string-shaped member 12; a back face hook part 14 fixed on a back face 53 of the image display part 52 to which the string-shaped member 12 is hooked on; and a loading surface hook part 16 fixed on the loading surface 62 and to which the string-shaped member 12 is hooked on.
