<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an infrared ray reception performance of an electronic device by making it hard to be affected by azimuth angle due to the vertical tilting of the incident end surface of a light guide body. <P>SOLUTION: An optical disk player 1 has a light receiving element 24 to receive infrared rays, and a light guide body 25 to guide the infrared rays to the light receiving element 24. The light guide body 25 has a first light guide part 31 and a second light guide part 32. The first light guide part 31 extends almost straight in a cylindrical shape, and the vertical direction of an incident end surface 31i, through which the infrared rays are designed to enter, is inclined with respect to the direction in which the first light guide part 31 extends. The second light guide part 32 protrudes in the vertical direction side of the incident end surface 31i of the first light guide part 31 from the peripheral surface of the first light guide body 31. Also, the second light guide part 32 extends almost straight in a cylindrical shape, and the direction in which the second light guide part 32 extends is parallel to the direction in which the first light guide part 31 extends. The second light guide part 32 functions to compensate the effect of the azimuth angle due to the vertical tilting of the incident end surface 31i of the light guide body 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
