<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scraper which can remove a deposit sticking to a release sheet and a laminator as well as a method for controlling the laminator. <P>SOLUTION: This scraper 11 comprises a scraping part 41, an index plunger 42, a holder 43, a holder plate 44, a plate 37 for fitting an aluminum frame and rotary mechanisms 46 and 47. The scraping part 41 is not fixed to the laminator 100 and pulled by a roller chain 32, so that the scraping part 41 can be moved on the release sheet 8 at an arbitrary frequency.
