<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a function of BIOS control range or a special start operation before OS start-up without increasing the manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to an electronic device 1 on which a keyboard as hardware is not mounted, at least one or more functional buttons (operation buttons 30L and 30R) for controlling functions determined on the OS are provided. Through the way of pressing and combining of each operation buttons 30L and 30R in combination with a power button, it becomes possible to control functions of the BIOS control range of the electronic device 1 main body, a special start-up operation before start-up of the OS and function selection which can be arbitrarily set after the start-up of the OS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
