<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device capable of suppressing power consumption by shortening a light emission time of a light emitting element and enabling a key to emit light for a long period of time without being affected by external light. <P>SOLUTION: On a keyboard chassis, light emitting elements 30 are provided respectively corresponding to a plurality of keys 2. Each of the keys 2 is provided with a light storage layer 33 which receives light from the light emitting element 30, stores the light as light energy, and emits light with the light energy stored. Further, on a portion of each key 2, which portion is located opposite the light emitting element 30 with respect to the light storage layer 33, is provided a retroreflective layer 34 which transmits the light emitted from the light emitting element 30 and the light storage layer 33 reflects external light, incident on the key 2 from the outside, toward its incident direction. Therefore, power consumption can be suppressed by shortening a light emission time of the light emitting elements 30 and the keys 2 is enabled to emit light for a long period of time without being affected by external light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
