THE MICRO-SIZE HOLLOW SPHERE ELECTRODE

摘要

PURPOSE: A micro-size hollow spherical electrode is provided to enable a high-current operation and secure superior characteristics because of high concentration and uniform distribution of catalyst loaded on a carrier. CONSTITUTION: A micro-size hollow spherical electrode comprises a hollow (Ti,Nb)O2 carrier(10) and an electo-chemical catalyst(20) formed on the carrier. The electro-chemical catalyst is selected among Ta, Pb, Ru, Ir, Sn, Ba, Ag, Pt, Pb, their mixture, and their oxide. The diameter of the hollow spherical electrode is 1~50 μm. The electro-chemical catalyst is uniformly distributed on the carrier at a thickness of 140-200nm and a concentration of 2400 μg/cm^2.
