<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button for an input interface, having high legibility of a displayed letter and easily detecting the boundary thereof through tactile perception, an input interface using the button for an input interface, and a portable terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The button for an input interface of a portable terminal is fixed on a base sheet adjacently along with at least one other button. A thin-walled part 13 lower in height than a key-top section 12 is formed on at least one circumference adjacent to other button.
