<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a plurality of patterns without power supply in a marker used for an augmented reality system. <P>SOLUTION: The marker is used for the augmented reality system for superimposing electronic information onto a video photographing a real environment, is placed in the real environment as an index for superimposing the electronic information onto the video, and includes a pattern presentation part for presenting a pattern corresponding to the electronic information superimposed onto the video.
