<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning device allowing simple and precise adjustment of a scanning line in production even if the scanning line is complexly deformed and minimizing a change in exerting force of adjustment means applied to a scanning lens when the means is used for correcting warp of the scanning lens, and to provide an image forming apparatus comprising the optical scanning device and forming high-quality images without allowing color shift. <P>SOLUTION: An optical scanning device includes a light source, a group of optical elements forming beams emitted from the light source on a photoreceptor, a deflector between the light source and the group of the optical elements 2, and forms scanning lines on the photoreceptor by means of the deflector. Any one of the optical elements 2 is retained by a retention member 4 having a retention part for retaining, at a plurality of positions in a primary scanning direction, the optical element 2 in a secondary scanning direction. The retention member 4 includes warp adjustment means 1 abutted to the optical element 2 for adjusting it. The warp adjustment means 1 includes an elastic section and stroke variation means for the elastic section in order to adjust an exerting force applied to the optical element 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
