HEATING METHOD AND HEATER OF STATOR BY INDUCTION HEATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating method and a heater of a stator by induction heating, which can fill a slot of the stator with varnish of high viscosity and can improve energy efficiency.

SOLUTION: For induction-heating the stator of an electric machine and hardening the varnish applied to the vicinity of a coil wound around the stator, an induction heating portion closely covers at least a half or above of an external part of the stator. An induction heating coil is arranged so that induction heating current flowing in the coil flows in one direction in the induction heating portion. The induction heating current is supplied to the induction heating coil and the stator is heated while rotating.
