<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field communication system capable of detecting a status which data is not updated. <P>SOLUTION: The filed communication system updates the data by receiving the data from field equipment via a communication network and mapping the data to a register. Detection means detects a communication status between pieces of the field equipment using the communication network.
