Folding chair for the transportation of babies and children, preferably, in cars and/or any other type of land, sea, and air transportation; the chair allows minimizing the space it occupies when it is not being used. In addition, the chair disclosed herein improves the existing security features, by providing increased fastening means and assuring that it does not move in case of impact or collision of the vehicle. The chair comprises a first body consisting of the back (1 a) and first lower leg (1 b) of the chair, and a second body, articulated to the first body, consisting of the seat (2a) and a second lower leg (2b) of the chair, wherein said back portion (1 a) and the seat portion (2a) of the first and second bodies, respectively, are provided with corresponding slots (9a, 9b) for passing the baby or child tethers (7a, 7b); corresponding side wings (3) articulated to said back (1 a) of the chair; a protecting cover of the upper portions of the back and seat of the chair, and of said wings (3), the cover having, in its upper part, a first tether (5) and, in its lower part, a second tether (6); and third and fourth tethers (8) with hooks (8a) used for securing the seat. |
