Producing a component (10) comprising at least one first and a second component through powder injection molding (PIM), preferably the metal powder injection molding (MIM), comprises: (a) providing the first component as a first green body; (b) providing the second component as a second green body; (c) connecting the green bodies of the component; (d) debinding the component; and (e) sintering the component, where the green bodies are connected by laser welding. An independent claim is also included for providing a complex green body for producing the component, comprising providing first green body as the first component, providing second green body as the second component, connecting the green bodies of the complex green body, where the green bodies are connected by laser welding.
