PURPOSE: A shopping system and a method for supporting article sales in the same are provided to enable a purchaser to recognize and read a bar code in a home shopping mall or an internet shopping mall using a smart phone, thereby enabling the purchaser to obtain information about an article. CONSTITUTION: A shopping server(200) services a broadcast program for home shopping or internet shopping. The shopping server provides order information about an article which is sold in the home shopping or the internet shopping. A display device displays the broadcast program for the home shopping or information about the internet shopping on a screen. The display device additionally displays the order information by a barcode form.
