The invention relates to a method for producing a plastics article comprising the extrusion of a tube-shaped preform and the re-forming of the preform within a blow mould into a hollow body by applying differential pressure. The method initially comprises a first expansion and partial shaping of the preform, with the blow mould not completely closed. Then, at least one opening is made in the circumference of the pre-expanded preform. In a further step, at least one insert is introduced through the opening into the interior of the partially shaped plastics article. In a final step, the blow mould is completely closed and the blow moulding of the plastics article is completed. |
