PURPOSE: A managing server and a managing method thereof are provided to determine a manual or automatic order process according to a usage pattern of an image forming device, thereby providing an order system suitable for the usage pattern of a company. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(110) receives state information on consumables from at least one image forming device. A storage unit(120) stores conditions for managing consumables according to each item for at least one image forming device. A management unit(130) manages each item at an automatic management mode or a manual management mode according to the stored conditions.
