IMAGE FORMATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus with which the image formation can be continuously performed if there is no problem in image formation even when a multiple-sheet feeding occurs.

SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes: multiple sheet-feed detection means for detecting a multiple sheet-feeding in which a plurality of recording sheets are fed in overlap; determination means for determining whether leading edges of first recording sheets S1 and S4 having a surface on which an image is to be formed in the image formation part among overlapped sheets are behind leading edges of other overlapping sheets S2 and S3 when the multiple sheet-feeding is detected; and control means that performs a first control to form image on the first recording sheets if the determination means determines that the leading edge of the recording sheets S1 and S4 are not behind, and performs a second control to stop forming image on the first recording sheets if the control means determines that they are behind.
