<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point service with a simple system and procedure. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal computer 4 transmits identification information of a card 7 read by a card reader 5 to a server 2, and creates a temporary password to be transmitted to the server 2. The server 2 checks whether the same identification information as the identification information of the card 7 is stored in a storage device, prompts input of user information when the identification information of the card 7 is not yet registered, registers the identification information of the card and the user information in the storage device by associating them each other, displays the temporary password on a display device of the terminal computer 4, and displays a message prompting input of a password on a mobile terminal 8.
