<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which includes multiple light emitting elements and suppresses luminance deterioration due to light loss in a separation part of a metal plate. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes a substrate, an insulation layer joined to the substrate, a metal plate joined to the insulation layer and multiple light emitting elements. The metal plate has a separation part, and the multiple light emitting elements are mounted on the metal plate. The multiple light emitting elements are covered by a sealing resin and the insulation layer has a function to reflect light emitted from the light emitting elements. A positive electrode external connection part and a negative electrode external connection part are provided at areas of the insulation layer which are not covered by the sealing resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
