<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming device and a process cartridge which includes a shutter provided with a separation member for protecting both an electrophotographic photoreceptor and a developer carrier by separating them and protects the photoreceptor using the separation member that releases the separation state between the photoreceptor and the developer carrier. <P>SOLUTION: A separation member 32 is movably attached to a shutter 31, and can take a separation position where the separation member enters between a photoreceptor drum 10 and a developer roller 20 to separate the photoreceptor drum 10 from the developer roller 20 when the shutter 31 is positioned at a closed position, and a retracted state where the separation member covers an aperture 12d when the shutter 31 is positioned at a closed position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
