<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air diffuser capable of optimally adjusting an air diffusing amount. <P>SOLUTION: In the air diffuser 1, a membrane type air diffusing pipe 4 is supported by a link type support 6, and the height position is changed to be installed, which changes the depth of water where the membrane type air diffusing pipe 4 is positioned. Along with this, pressure loss of gas when the gas is supplied from a blower can be changed. As a result, the amount of bubbles generated from the membrane type air diffusing pipe 4, which is the air-diffusing amount, is optimally adjusted.
