PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device and an image processing method capable of presenting a moving image including an unexpected static image or the like to a user.

SOLUTION: The electronic device includes: indexing means; image selection means; image extracting means; and image display means. The indexing means generates index information of a plurality of static images. The image selection means selects one static image from the plurality of static images. The image extracting means extracts a plurality of static images related to the one static image from the plurality of static images using the index information. The image display means displays a moving image using the plurality of extracted static images.
