<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a frame area and to enhance the reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 includes a second substrate 12 arranged to be opposite to a first substrate 11 and a liquid crystal layer 14 arranged between the first substrate 11 and the second substrate 12 and sealed by a sealing member 13. On the surface of the second substrate 12 on the side of the first substrate 11, a second electrode 32 is formed. On the first substrate 11, a plurality of first electrodes 31 are formed, arranged to be opposite to a part of the second electrode 32 and electrically connected the second electrode 32 via a conducting member. The first electrode 31 includes a main electrode 31a and at least one sub-electrode 31c having less surface area than that of the main electrode 31a in a view from the normal direction of the surface of the first substrate 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
