<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of reducing unevenness in fixing temperature in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of sheets. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: a heating rotatable body 9a heated by electromagnetic induction heating; a pressure roller 9b; an induction coil 71 disposed along an external surface of, and apart from, the heating rotatable body 9a; a plurality of first cores 74 which comprise a magnetic core part 72 for forming a magnetic path surrounding wire rods constituting the induction coil 71, are the plurality of first cores 74 facing an external surface of the heating rotatable body 9a and interposing the induction coil 71, are arranged side by side at a predetermined gap between them in a direction D2 orthogonal to a first circumferential direction R1, and can be moved in a direction D2 orthogonal to the first circumferential direction R1; a second core 73 disposed alongside the plurality of first cores 74 and nearby an inner peripheral end 711A of the induction coil 71; and a third core 75 disposed alongside the plurality of first cores 74 and nearby the inner peripheral end 711B of the induction coil 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
