<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating appearance color texture capable of objectively evaluating texture, a device for evaluating appearance color texture and a system for evaluating appearance color texture. <P>SOLUTION: The method for evaluating appearance color texture comprises steps of: forming a coordinate space having at least two of brightness difference, chroma difference, and hue difference as coordinate axe; measuring colorimetrically attributes of a plurality of colors on a coated plate being an evaluation object in correspondence to a plurality of predetermined angles; calculating a measured brightness difference, a measured chroma difference, and a measured hue difference based on the attributes of respective measured colors; determining the position of an evaluation object plot in the coordinate space based on the measured brightness difference, the measured chroma difference, and the measured hue difference calculated respectively; drawing the evaluation object plot at the determined position in the coordinate space and displaying the coordinate space where the evaluation object plot is drawn; and evaluating the appearance color texture of the coated plate based on the position of the evaluation object plot in the coordinate space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
