<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel weighing method in which, even when weight of an object to be weighed including wastes is less than minimum weighing quantity, the weight can be recorded to be used for a transaction certificate, and a weighing apparatus using the method. <P>SOLUTION: In a weighing apparatus, its minimum weighing quantity is pre-registered. When weight of an object to be weighed placed on the weighing apparatus is less than the minimum weighing quantity, a message display means notifies an operator to place an addition together with the object to be weighed on the weighing apparatus. The weight of the addition must be the minimum weighing quantity or more. When the operator follows the message to place the addition on the weighing apparatus and operates first operation means, the total weight of the object to be weighed and the addition is recorded in memory. Then, when the operator removes the object to be weighed from the weighing apparatus and operates second operation means, the weight of only the addition is recorded in the memory. A calculation means executes the following calculation from the two measured weight values recorded and outputs the result to a printer: (Weight of the object to be weighed+Weight of the addition)-(Weight of the addition)=Weight of the object to be weighed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
