<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output shaft supporting structure of a manual transmission dispensing a snap ring for positioning a ball bearing as well as eliminating the opening of a rear end side of the second case in the manual transmission in which a housing is constituted of two components. <P>SOLUTION: The front end of an output shaft 20 is supported by the first case 1 via the roller bearing 42, the rear end of the output shaft is supported by the rear end of the second case 2 via the roller bearing 43, and the final speed reduction gear 27 arranged near the front end of the output shaft is meshed with the ring gear 31 of a differential device. The thrust bearing 44 is arranged between the front end of the output shaft and the first case and the thrust load in a fore and aft direction of the output shaft 20 is supported by the ball bearing 43 and the thrust bearing 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
