Individual-specific information having preferable reproducibility and differential properties can be generated with a small circuit scale. Disclosed is an individual-specific information generation device for generating individual-specific information of an electronic device, wherein the individual-specific information generation device is configured by a plurality of digital circuits, a random number determination unit, and an individual-specific information generation unit. The plurality of digital circuits have the same circuit structure. Outputs in response to a specific input cannot be unambiguously determined among the digital circuits, and each digital circuit outputs a predetermined constant output value or a random number output value, respectively. Further, the sequence of the digital circuits is pre-defined. The random number determination unit determines whether the output value is a random number or a constant, with respect to each of the plurality of digital circuits. The individual-specific information generation unit generates the individual-specific information on the basis of the sequence information and the output value defined for a digital circuit which is determined to have a constant output value by the random number determination unit, among the plurality of digital circuits. |
