PURPOSE: A device for inserting a geothermal heat exchanger and a method of installing a geothermal heat exchanger using the device are provided to enhance workability to connect pulley lines to a geothermal heat exchanger since a fastening hook is connected to one end of two pulley lines. CONSTITUTION: A device for inserting a geothermal heat exchanger comprises a mounting pile(20), at least one pulley(30), and pulley lines(40). The mounting file is inserted into a bore-hole(10). The pulley is mounted on the inner lower end of the mounting pile. The pulley lines hang on the pulley. If one end of the pulley line is connected to a geothermal heat exchanger(50), and the other end of the pulley line is pulled from the ground, then the geothermal heat exchanger is inserted into the mounting file.
