PLANAR BUILDING MATERIAL MACHINING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar building material machining apparatus capable of accurately machining a rear face of a face material used as a building material regardless of dispersion in plate thickness or the like.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for cutting the face material W used as the building material such as an external wall surface material includes a machining table 2 having a vertically penetrating cutter insertion window 22 and placing the face material W, and an upper face pressing mechanism 3 pressing the face material W on the machining table 2 from the upper face. The apparatus further includes a spindle head 4 having a rotating tool 9 insertable through the cutter insertion window 22, at the upper end of a vertically extending main spindle 8, and a main spindle moving mechanism 5 moving the spindle head 4 in orthogonal triaxial directions. A plurality of main spindle heads 4 are installed at a movable bed 10 so as to be adjustable in the array pitch.
