<p>#CMT# #/CMT# Manufacturing thermoplastic polyurethane from polyol and isocyanate, comprises adding polyol and isocyanate in liquid form into a planetary roller extruder, mixing and maintaining the temperature of the starting materials at 110-130[deg] C. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The thermoplastic polyurethane is useful for producing molded parts, pieces, blocks, plates, sheets, membranes, coverings, pipes, hoses, rods, bars, sections, ribbons, cords, wires, bristles, networks, adhesives, paints, glues, pastes, cements, binders, plaster, fillers, casting and sealing compounds, melting and coating materials, gels, threads, fibers, yarns, silks, ropes, mats, non-woven fabrics and tissues. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method provides a homogeneous mixing of reactants with single-mixing effect, prevents adverse mechanical effect on the product. The polyol in the planetary roller extruder is dried and degassed before the addition of isocyanate. The raw materials are added entirely or partially between the sections of the planetary roller extruder, which consists of multiple sections.
