PURPOSE: A communications node and a communications method are provided to enhance the communications efficiency of an entire network by applying different protocol stacks between an access network and a backbone network which have different network properties. CONSTITUTION: A transmission side termination node which is connected to a backbone network(40) receives a packet which includes identifier information about a reception side termination host from an access network in which a transmission side termination host is connected. The transmission side termination node adds a TCP(Transport Control Protocol) in the packet in order to control an error and a traffic flow of the backbone network. The transmission side termination node routes the packet in which the TCP is added to a reception side termination node through the backbone network. |
