PURPOSE: A novel strain Lactobacillus fermentum LC272 with vitamin K2 productivity is provided to ensure antibiotic resistance, enzyme activity, and antibacterial activity. CONSTITUTION: A Lactobacillus fermentum LC272(KACC91565P) has vitamin K2 productivity. The strain is cultured in a modified MRS medium containing bromcresol purple and sodium azide. The strain is isolated from crude oil. The strain has antibacterial ability against Salmonella typhimurium and Staphylococcus aureu.
