<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of displaying a photographed image by projection in a manner that is easily visible from a subject side. <P>SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus, a control part (110) captures direction of an imaging optical system (101) by an angle recognition part (109) when a release button is in half-depressed, and stores the captured direction in a built-in memory (111). When the release button is fully depressed, the control part (110) stores a photographed image taken by an image pickup device (107) in a memory connected to an external memory (113). According to depression of a projection button, the control part (110) obtains direction information and upward/downward tilt information of a projection optical system (102), and displays the photographed image by projection invertedly when the direction of the imaging optical system at photographing is approximately same as that of the projection optical system and the direction of projection optical system is downward, or otherwise, the image taken is displayed uprightly by projection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
