<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a developer from leaking out as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A side seal member is arranged across an opposing part on a casing side (a part of the casing opposed to an end of a developer carrying surface in a main scanning direction) and an opposing part on a support member side (a part of a substrate support member opposed to an end of the developer carrying surface in the main scanning direction) and is arranged to come into a slidable contact with the end of the developer carrying surface, in order to prevent the developer from leaking out from a gap by filling the gap between the end of a developing roller body in the main scanning direction and the casing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
