<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a user convenience by enabling a user to write down without being especially conscious of the writing direction with respects the direction of a device. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention includes an electronic pen 2 with which input information is input. A writing operation of input information inputted with the electronic pen 2 is detected. Whether a writing direction of the input information inputted on the handwriting input device 1 coincides with a predetermined direction is judged.
