<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gaming machine achieving the player's will to continue a game by operating an accessory continuous operation device when operation of the accessory continuous operation device is controlled not to be associated with flagging. <P>SOLUTION: A round starting gate 127 is exclusively used for starting a round. The round starting gate 127 is disposed with a round starting switch 225 for detecting the passage of a game ball. The round starting gate 127 is disposed with a gate lamp 118 configured to be lit. The lighting of the gate lamp 118 is started together with the display presentation of "let's insert a game ball into a lighting gate" displayed on an image display unit 114, when flagged.
