<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-tightness test method for an air-supply-type air-tight clothing that is a chemical protective clothing without requiring a disassembly and repair of an exhaust valve. <P>SOLUTION: A cover of an exhaust valve of an air-supply-type air-tight clothing is removed, and a lid member is attached to the exhaust valve. Air is supplied from an air-supply source through an air-supply hose connected to an air-supply port into the inside of the clothing while measuring an inner pressure of a space between a valve body of the exhaust valve and the lid member. The air is supplied to apply pressure to the inside of the clothing until the inner pressure of the space between the valve body of the exhaust valve and the lid member reaches a predetermined value. The inner pressure of the air-supply hose is measured at a time when a predetermined time is passed after halting the air supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
