<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for forming relief surfaces for a plurality of abrasive grains by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: When a rotary tool 13 and a truing grindstone 21 are relatively rotated while abrasive grains 19 are offset from a normal line 14, oblique smooth surfaces 20 (relief surfaces 20) are formed on the abrasive grains 19. When returned to the normal line 14, the abrasive grains including the relief surfaces 20 having predetermined relief angles are formed for an article to be worked. Thus, positioning accuracy and reproduction accuracy are improved, and relief surfaces having highly accurate relief angles are easily formed for a plurality of grindstones (abrasive grains) in a short period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
