<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of preventing the distortion of a toner image on a sheet generated at a transfer part. <P>SOLUTION: Line sensors 7A-7D for consecutively detecting a position of a sheet end and a tilt of the sheet to the sheet feeding direction when the sheet passes through a secondary transfer part 1F are provided at least one of between the secondary transfer part 1F and a pair of registration rollers 5, and between the secondary transfer part 1F and a fixing device 6. Based on detection information from the line sensors 7A-7D, a distortion amount is calculated for a toner image transferred on a sheet at the secondary transfer part 1F.
