OUTDOOR INSTALLATION TYPE POWER GENERATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor installation type power generating apparatus advantageous to inhibit snow from remaining in a meanderingly-bent passage even when snow such as powder snow intrudes into the meanderingly-bent passage from an outside air intake port.

SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a housing 1 having a power generation chamber 10 and installed outdoors; a power generation source 2 formed of an engine 20 or a fuel cell 28; the outside air intake port 200 provided in the housing 1 so as to be above the power generation chamber 10 of the housing 1, opened in a side wall 14 of the housing 1 and taking outside air into the housing 1; an air intake part 100 having the meanderingly-bent passage 300 which brings the outside air intake port 200 into communication with the power generation chamber 10 and causes the outside air to move from the outside air intake port 200 toward the power generation chamber 10 while meandering the outside air along the height direction; a drain port 500 provided in the meanderingly-bent passage 300; and a hot liquid tank 600 transmitting heat to the meanderingly-bent passage 300.
