<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server rack, a system consisting of multiple servers mounted on the server rack to prevent server operation by unauthorized users, and a power supply control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: User authentication data to open an electronic lock of a server rack is stored in a user management data storage part of a server. In the user management data storage part, power supply instruction information on a keyboard, mouse, and USB port of respective users is stored. When user authentication is successful, an electronic lock is opened and a server is shifted to a power on stand-by state. When the user turns on the server, power supply starts according to the power supply instruction information, so that data alteration and fraudulent data takeout using a USB memory or the like by users who have no permission to supply power to a keyboard, mouse and USB port is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
