<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable printing a register mark in a normal image-erasing region, without causing image density variation in each page, for image data having a register mark designated. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises an image forming part for forming a toner image based on image data and transferring the toner image onto a sheet, and a control part capable of setting an image erasing amount using a paper end part as reference. The control part comprises a job setting mode for setting an image erasing amount uniformly for the job, and a page setting mode for enabling setting of an image erasing amount for each page of the job, thereby enabling setting of the image erasing amount suitably in accordance with a user's desire or an image printing ratio of a sheet end part per job unit or per page unit without causing density variation among sheets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
