<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor installation type power generating apparatus having a structure advantageous as a structure for preventing intrusion of powder snow or the like while ensuring a sound absorption characteristic on the noise resulted from a power generation source or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The outdoor installation type power generating apparatus includes: the power generation source 2 formed of an engine-type generator or a fuel cell; a ventilation fan 3; and an exhaust passage 4 exhausting gas in a generator chamber 10 to the outside of a housing 1 as exhaust gas. The exhaust passage 4 includes: a sound absorbing duct 5 communicating with the generator chamber 10 and forming a sound absorption bent passage 50 bendingly extending; a weir 61; a weir passage 62; a direction changing passage 7 changing the direction of the exhaust gas to a direction (A7 direction) intersecting with a flow direction in which the exhaust gas flows from the sound absorption bent passage 50 toward the weir passage 62; and an exhaust port 8 provided on the end side of the direction changing passage 7 and exposed to the ambient air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
