<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated wire having improved strength as compared with conventional wires without deteriorating electrical characteristics, and an assembly of the coated wire and a terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The coated wire includes: a conductor part 10 comprising a plurality of element wires 12 of a conductor, the element wires being bundled together; a sheath 20 of an insulator, covering an outer periphery of the conductor part 10; and a fibrous reinforcement material 30 disposed in a gap 14 existing between the element wires 12 on an outer periphery side of the conductor part 10 and on an inner periphery side of the sheath 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
