<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisting machine in which the power consumption of a drive source for driving a spindle to rotate is reduced to decrease a running cost, by reducing the outer diameter dimensions of a rotary disc that constitutes the spindle. <P>SOLUTION: A yarn-feeding bobbin 12 is mounted over a stationary disc 63 of a spindle 60 through a raising member 70, and the yarn-feeding bobbin 12 is installed at a high position over the stationary disc 63 by the height of the raising member 70. When the yarn-feeding bobbin 12 is thus installed at a high position, even if a diameter of a balloon 51 at a lower half is reduced, the balloon 51 hardly contacts with a lower end part of the outer peripheral surface of the yarn-feeding bobbin 12. Accordingly, the outer diameter dimensions of the rotary disc 62 of the spindle 60 that regulates a diameter of the balloon 51 can be reduced as compared with a conventional size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
