Provided is a wind power generation apparatus wherein the wall thickness of a nacelle is reduced to reduce the weight and to suppress increase of heat input from solar light into the nacelle. In a wind power generation apparatus (1A), a drive and power generation mechanism coupled to a rotor head (4) to which windmill blades (5) are attached, is contained and installed within a nacelle (3). A coated surface (20) coated with a high-reflectivity paint is formed on at least a part of the outer wall surface to receive solar light.
