<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an occupant to adjust a time (play) required for starting accelerator work in controlling an output of a power unit with an electric signal of a sensor for detecting an opening of an accelerator grip. <P>SOLUTION: The accelerator operating device 1 includes: an accelerator grip 3; a sensor rotor 15 that is engaged with an end of the accelerator grip 3 and rotates in response to the operation of the accelerator grip 3 by an occupant; and a sensor 4 for detecting the rotational amount of the sensor rotor 15. A plurality of recesses are formed on the end of the accelerator grip 3 and a protrusion portion 16 is formed on an end of the sensor rotor 15. The protrusion 16 is selectively engaged with the plurality of recesses to transmit the rotation of the accelerator grip 3 to the sensor rotor 15, thus making widths of a plurality of recesses in the rotational direction of the accelerator grip 3 different from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
